Kiler Yarn Factory Begins Exports: Shipments to Poland and Portugal Successfully Completed
Kiler Yarn Factory, established in Bitlis by Kiler Textile Energy and Investment Inc., a subsidiary of Kiler Holding, has officially started its export operations, securing its place in international markets with initial shipments to Poland and Portugal. Operating with renewable energy, the facility continues to contribute significantly to regional employment and economic development.
With an annual turnover target of approximately USD 75 million, the factory contributes foreign currency inflows to the Turkish economy through exports, while also supporting import substitution through domestic sales. By sourcing a significant portion of its raw cotton from within Türkiye, the facility provides an estimated USD 48 million annually in economic support to local cotton farmers.
The factory meets its entire energy demand from renewable energy sources and operates in line with zero-waste principles. Designed with high energy efficiency and an environmentally friendly production approach, the facility stands out as a sustainable industrial investment. Vahit Kiler, Chairman of the Board of Kiler Yarn Investments Inc., stated that the start of exports represents a major milestone aligned with the factory’s founding vision. He emphasized that following shipments to Poland and Portugal, efforts are ongoing to establish new partnerships across other European markets.
In addition to strengthening regional employment, Kiler Yarn Factory aims to position Bitlis as a competitive production hub in the international textile industry through high value-added manufacturing and exports.
